Heute, 9. Oktober, kam es in Hamburg aus Anlass von Merkles „Besuch“ und der Demoverbote in Athen zu einer Transpiaktion in Solidarität mit den Menschen in Griechenland. Der Artikel erscheint mit der Bitte darum, dass ihn jemand auch auf Indymedia Athen posten möge (aufgrund fehlender Sprachkenntnisse für uns nicht möglich). English version below.

Heute wurde in Hamburg in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs an vielbefahrenen S-Bahn-Gleisen ein Transparent befestigt mit der Aufschrift „Solidarität mit den Protestierenden in Griechenland“. Dies ist von praktisch allen S-Bahnen aus gut zu sehen. Für die Fotos wurde noch ein Transparent mit der Aufschrift „One struggle one fight (A)“ dazugehalten. Die Aktion richtete sich gegen die maßgeblich von Deutschland mitbestimmte Krisenpolitik der Troika, die für eine Verarmung breiter Teile der Bevölkerung sorgt und Gesundheits- und Sozialsysteme zerstört, während Banken und andere private Gläubiger „Rettungsgelder“ in Milliardenhöhe einsacken.

Today, Oktober 9th, there was a bannerdrop-action in Hamburg in solidarity with the people in Greece. The cause to do it today was the “visit” of Angela Merkel in Athens and the ban of all gatherings in Athens connected to that. The banner reading “Solidarity with the protesting people in Greece!” was dropt near the central station, next to the tracks of  the rapid-transit railway, so it can be seen from the trains. Another banner was held up for the photos, reading „One struggle one fight (A)“. The action was directed against the policy of the Troika regarding the crisis, which is strongly influenced  by Germany and which causes the impoverishment of big parts of the society and destroys the health care and the welfare system while banks and other private investors are “rescued” with billions.
