whenever these jokers leave germany and go anywhere else in europe they are treated as the bizarre sect that they are, but within germany many people are afraid of them -- afraid, understandably, of being accused of anti-semitism, which is the main weapon of the antideutsche. but as the rest of the european left knows much better than the german left, being opposed to israeli apartheid does not mean you are opposed to jews generally. lots of jews oppose israeli apartheid and they are neither anti-semitic nor self-haters -- on the contrary, they are consistent in their politics, unlike the antideutsche, whose support for israel apparently requires them to make the outrageous move of supporting u.s. foreign policy. what, you ask? self-proclaimed communists supporting the war in iraq...? yup! you got it! that's the antideutsche.
israel is an apartheid state and as such does not have the right to exist, any more than the u.s. has a right to exist, for that matter, as a settler state on stolen land with a political and economic system in place that privileges some people over others, which it does, tho israel does it in a much more blatant (a la apartheid) manner.
jews have a right to live in palestine or whatever people want to call that land mass, but they don't have a right to create an apartheid state, any more than the boers/english did in south africa.
As the list of countries jews have had problems in that you list, arnold, what you are pointing out there is that jews have had a terrible history of oppression in EUROPE primarily. europeans -- from the catholic church to the nazi party to the many, many nazi collaborators throughout the continent, from the ukrainian fascists to the french fascists, have a lot to answer for (tho of course most of them are now dead). but palestinians had essentially nothing to do with any of that. and even if they did, forming an apartheid state where they are the second-class or often just dead-class citizens is not the solution here.
i think the idea of a bavarian homeland for the jews is a good idea. it's also good comedy, but it's really a good idea. let the bavarians move to austria. they speak german in austria don't they? it's pretty much the same. (for those who don't get the "joke," this is a play on the israelis who say the palestinians should all just move to jordan because they're really all jordanians anyway.)
very, very few people in the u.s. or anywhere else would seriously propose resettling the settlers, whether in the u.s. or israel. what is meant by "right to exist" for a country means "right for that political system to exist in that land mass." apartheid, or a slightly more subtle form in institutionalized injustice and inequality as in the u.s.a., has no right to exist anywhere, and the solution to inequality is equality. the solution to injustice is justice (not retribution). equality and justice are infinitely complicated concepts, but also quite simple in their essence, something any school child can understand.
in israel as in the u.s., equality can be understood to mean a society where there are no obviously second-class citizens, where it's "one person one vote" note "one dollar one vote" as in the u.s. or "one jew one vote" as in israel, where the occupied people of the west bank and gaza (to say nothing of the refugees in other countries) have no vote. shouldn't they either be allowed to have a vote, or a country, at least one or the other...? right now they've got neither -- just a brutal, vicious occupation.
to put this in some kind of random, personal perspective here, tho, i agree with those who say "but look at the stolen land and settlements in the u.s." -- that's the main focus for me, and the biggest problem in this world today, u.s. foreign and domestic policy. it is, in fact, the reason israel is able to do what it does the way it does. it's also the main reason a lot of other terrible situations exist in the world today. and there are also equitable and practical solutions to the problem that is the united states as well, that do not involve deporting all the whites back to europe.

David Rovics using the term "israeli apartheid" says everything. Opposing his position, you don't even have to call yourself "antideutsch". That vocabulary exposes the hate campaign that Rovics is about.
Furthermore, this is mockery of the victims of the south african apartheid.
Did that moron ever recognize there are also Arabs living as Israelis besides Jews, having an Israeli passport, beeing represented in the parliament?
There are a lot of problems in the Middle East. Continuing a hate campaign against Israel won't solve them.

Nicht nur Antideutsche ist die Überschrift Deines Kommentars, schön. Deine Kritik ist allerdings äußerst kurz gegriffen, eigentlich geilst Du Dich ja nur an einem Wort auf, der ganze Rest in 7 Sätzen sind 2 persönliche, abwertende meiner Meinung nach unhaltbare Behauptungen über den Autor des Textes den Du kommentierst. Der Begriff Apartheid ist im Diskurs der linken Öffentlichkeit in Israel übrigens keineswegs unbekant, ich kann Dir nur Indymedia Israel empfehlen, englisch klappt ja, also informier Dich bitte bevor Du wahllos Leute beleidigst, nur weil Du nicht auf der Höhe des internationalen Diskurs bist (außerdem kommt's einfach besser was von dem zu Wissen über das Du schreibst). Araber die neben Juden als Israelische Staatsbürger leben ist ein extrem verklärender Duktus. Da könnte mensch auch auf altermedia darüber schwadronieren das es ja Juden waren die die Türen zu den Duschräumen verschlossen haben, das wäre hirnrissig, falsch und wegen der implizierten Mitschuld etc. einfach ganz blöd, sind wir einer Meinung, oder? Weitere abwertende Behauptungen
Wer hat schon Lust, den langen, schwachsinnigen Text von Rovics zu Ende zu lesen? Ich jedenfalls nicht. Deshalb werde ich auch nicht auf jede Einzelheit daraus eingehen.
Vielen Dank für die Empfehlung von Indymedia Israel. Auf die Idee bin ich tatsächlich noch nicht gekommen. Man muss schon eine besondere Passion im Kritisieren dieses Staates haben, wenn man die Muse hat, das dortige Indymedia-Portal zu durchforsten.
Wenn ich mir so anschaue, was zum Teil auf dem deutschsprachigen Indymedia zu lesen ist, frage ich mich, wie man von einem „Diskurs“ der dort stattfindet, irgendetwas legitimieren will, in deinem Fall den Gebrauch des Wortes „Apartheid“.
Auf die seltsame Einlassung mit den Duschräumen will ich gar nicht erst eingehen. Ich denke, hier entlarvst du dich selbst, auch wenn du versuchst, dir mit dem Hinweis auf Altermedia ein Feigenblatt zu verpassen.
Ich denke es ist nicht besonders menschenverachtend, Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, die das Explodieren von menschlichen Bomben in Bussen, Cafés etc. verhindern, Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, die den Beschuss mit Raketen verhindern oder Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, die verhindern, dass mal eben ein wahnsinniger Gotteskrieger mit einem Maschinengewehr auf Wartende an einer Bushaltestelle feuert.
Und übrigens, die „annektierten Gebiete“ gibt es nicht zuletzt deshalb, weil der Staat Israel seit seiner Gründung immer wieder von Kriegen überzogen wird. Zu blöd, dass die Israelis es da leid sind, die andere Gesichtshälfte hinzuhalten.

Scharek <http://www.sharek.ps>, einer der führenden Jugendorganisationen
- und zwar mit ihren Waffen, Lügen und ihrer Aggressivität. Sie
schmissen alle raus, verhafteten ein paar und verboten die Arbeit von
Scharek insgesamt.
Einige Tage später schlugen sie Demonstranten für Scharek zusammen und
nahm einige von ihnen fest. Wir leben wirklich in einem Albtraum,
eingeschlossen in einem Alptraum. Wir haben die Operation "Cast Lead"
(Vergossenes Blei) nur knapp überlebt, während derer Israel sehr
effektiv die Scheiße aus uns rausgebombt hat, tausende von Häusern
zerstörte und noch mehr Leben und Träume. Die Hamas sind sie nicht wie
beabsichtigt losgeworden, aber sie haben uns auf Ewigkeit Angst
eingejagt und das posttraumatische Stresssymptom verpasst, denn wir
konnten ja nicht wegrennen.
Wir sind eine Jugend mit schweren Herzen. Wir tragen eine Traurigkeit in
uns, die es uns schwer macht, den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Wie soll
das auch gehen, wenn wir schwarze Wolken am Horizont und düstere
Erinnerung sehen, sobald wir die Augen schließen? Wir lächeln, um den
Schmerz zu verstecken. Wir lachen, um den Krieg zu vergessen. Wir
hoffen, um nicht Selbstmord begehen zu müssen, hier und jetzt.
*Wir haben Israel so satt*
Während des Krieges hatten wir das untrügliche Gefühl, Israel will uns
vom Erdboden tilgen. In den letzten Jahren hat die Hamas alles getan, um
unsere Gedanken, unser Handeln und unsere Wünsche zu kontrollieren. Wir
sind eine junge Generation, die an Raketen gewöhnt ist.
Wir haben die unlösbare Aufgabe, ein normales und gesundes Leben zu
führen, obwohl wir kaum toleriert werden von dieser Organisation, die
sich in unserer Gesellschaft wie ein Krebsgeschwür ausgebreitet hat, das
alles Lebendige abtötet und die Leute mit ihrem Terrorregime lähmt.
Vergessen wir aber auch nicht unser Gefängnis, das von einer sogenannten
demokratischen Regierung unterhalten wird.
*Wir haben Angst*
Die Geschichte wiederholt sich aufs Grausamste, und niemanden scheint
das zu kümmern. Wir haben solche Angst. Hier, in Gaza, haben wir Angst,
eingesperrt zu werden, verhört, geschlagen, gefoltert, bombardiert,
getötet. Wir haben Angst zu leben, weil jeder Schritt wohlüberlegt sein
will, überall gibt es Grenzen, wir können uns nicht bewegen, wie wir
wollen, manchmal können wir noch nicht mal denken, was wir wollen, weil
die Besetzung unsere Gehirne und Herzen so sehr okkupiert, dass es weh
tut und wir endlose Tränen vor Wut und Schmerz vergießen wollen!
Wir wollen nicht hassen, wir wollen all diese Gefühle nicht fühlen, wir
wollen keine Opfer mehr sein. Genug! Genug Schmerz, genug Tränen, genug
Leid, genug der Kontrolle, der Begrenzung, der unrechten
Rechtfertigungen, des Terrors, der Folter, der Entschuldigungen, der
Bomben, der schlaflosen Nächte, der toten Zivilisten, der schwarzen
Erinnerungen, der düsteren Zukunft, der herzerweichenden Gegenwart, der
verstörenden Politik, der fanatischen Politiker, der religiösen Scheiße,
genug der Verhaftungen!
Wir sagen HALT! Das ist nicht die Zukunft, die wir haben wollen! Wir
wollen drei Dinge: Wir wollen frei sein. Wir wollen ein normales Leben
leben können. Wir wollen Frieden. Ist das zu viel verlangt?
Wir sind eine Friedensbewegung, die sich aus jungen Leuten in Gaza und
vielen Unterstützern zusammensetzt und die keine Ruhe geben wird, bis
die wahre Situation in Gaza wieder in allen Köpfen ist und dieser
Konsens des Schweigens oder der lärmenden Ignoranz durchbrochen ist.
Das ist das Manifest der Jugend von Gaza für die Veränderung!
Wir werden damit anfangen, das Gefängnis in unseren Köpfen aufzubrechen,
um unsere Würde und unsere Selbstachtung zurückzubekommen. Wir werden
unsere Köpfe hoch tragen, auch wenn wir auf Widerstand stoßen. Wir
werden Tag und Nacht arbeiten, um diese elenden Lebensbedingungen zu
verändern. Wir werden Träume entwickeln, wo wir auf Wände stoßen.

David Rovics entlarvt sich selbst
Ich kannte David Rovics bislang nicht, aber nach dieser Stellungnahme von ihm bin ich sein Gegner:
1. Er hält einen jüdischen Staat in Bayern für eine gute Idee.
Dies ist absolut unhistorisch gedacht. Die jüdischen DPs wollten 1945 weg aus Deutchland und meist auch weg aus denm Friedhof Europa. Manche wollten nach Palästina, andere nach Australien, Kanada oder die USA. In Bayern einen jüdischen Staat gründen wollte niemand. Rovics will mit der Forderung nach einem jüdischen Staat in Bayern offensichtlich nur gegen den real existierenden jüdischen Staat Israel polemisieren.
2. Worin gleicht Israel denn dem Apartheidsstaat Südafrika? Gibt es Toiletten und Restaurants, die nur für Juden/Palästinenser sind? Natürlich nicht! Ebenfalls nur eine billige Polemik.
3. Die Antideutschen sollen also Deutschland verlassen (zumindest in seinen Wunschträumen). Das erinnert mich spontan an die reaktionären Sprüche früher, wir Linken sollten doch nach drüben (in die DDR) gehen. Oder die heutige Naziparole "Wer Deutschland nicht liebt, soll Deutschland verlassen!" (Nein, David Rovics ist natürlich kein Nazi, sondern ein Linker, aber die Parole ähnelt doch sehr).
Man muss wahrlich kein Antideutscher (im Sinne der Bahamiten oder des ISF Freiburg sein, um diesen Quatsch von ihm abzulehnen. Und wenn der Club Voltaire (wahrlch keine antideutsche Hochburg) ihn auslädt, dann sicher nicht aus Angst vor den wenigen versprengten Antideutschen in Ffm.

falls du es nicht gemerkt hast, es gibt nen Trennzaun zwischen Palis und Israelis und sogar Strassen/Siedlungen nur für Juden und eingie Strassen sind sogsar in der Mitte von nem Hüfthohen-Trennstein getrennt - auf der einen Seite dürfen nur Israelis laufen, auf der anderen Araber.

Da kannst du Recht haben. Den nach meiner Erkenntnis gibt es keine Folter in Israel. Im Gegensatz zu den Nachbarn in Gaza, unter der Herrschaft der Hamas. Es sind übrigens dort die Palestinänser, die unter diesem Regime leiden und denen durch dieses Regime eine Verbesserung ihrer Situation verwehrt bleibt. Das wäre mal ein Grund, sich aufzuregen. First of all it's simply annoying that there is a group of bullies existing who're able to prefent a gig of somebody just because of them aint bein' happy about this persons political statements. What's about talking about ones problems and the claim to respect and try to understand the different positions in left/alternativ struggles.
I'm sorry for David and i'm truly sorry for Frankfurt, Club Voltaire and especially for everybody who needs to be antideutsch. It may be that your struggle is leading in an opposite direction than mine, than ours even. But that's not the point, it's your struggle and it's not in anybody’s decision but yours. What I’m trying to get you think about is that there might be a couple of ways, some leading in different directions which could be needed to change this schmock and they haven’t to be all of them your favorite.
