Paris: Solidarity hammering

fire-to-the-prisons

In the night of 19th to 20th of February 2014, the houses of justice and law (MJD) located in rue de Boucheries (Saint-Denis suburb), Bernard et Mazoyer street (Aubervilliers suburb) and Buisson Saint-Louis street (10th arrondissement of Paris) were attacked.

Glass windows were shattered in all three. The slogan “fuck justice” was painted on the office facade in Buisson Saint-Louis street. Because, generally, justice is destroying our life on a daily basis, and also because a rebellion in the Vincennes migrants detention centre was put down on the 14th of February (two detainees were incarcerated),* and later that day two comrades were sent to prison** for expressing their solidarity with the revolted outside the detention camp walls. Because we believe that no attack of the justice system should go unanswered.

Freedom!

* After the mutiny in Vincennes, two of the detained migrants were sentenced to 2 months incarceration (one of them got 2 additional months suspended sentence for refusing to give DNA).
** The two comrades were released on Tuesday, February 25th after spending 10 days in custody at Fleury-Mérogis prison. Both are under judicial supervision, just like three other comrades who were detained on the same occasion. Their trial is set for March 24th, 2014.
