Free Brendan Lillis!

Free Brendan Lillis, with a short link to the online petition for the release of the Irish-Republican prisoner, no need to say more about that call. Brendan "Brendy" Lillis is a prisoner of the Provisional IRA, whose life time sentence was discontinued in 1992. In 2009, he was arrested again, linked with a robbery. But even as the accusal was taken down in 2011, Brendy had to stay in the gaol of Maghaberry - without arraignment, without conviction.

Besides this, Brendy suffers from Ankylosing spondylitis and cannot stand up or even walk. The badly needed medical treatment was denied until now from the Northern Irish prison authorities. He massively lost weight in the gaol, and friends, relatives and his partner are worried about that he could die soon. His partner, Roisin Lynch, former prisoners and Irish-Republican groups are claiming the release of Brendy - wich has been denied by Northern Irish authorities. Meanwhile, Brendy has to be transferred to a hospital outside the prison in Belfast.

But Brendy isn't alone, the protests planned next weekend in Ireland are showing this. That he also has friends in Berlin is showed by this short message, posted in the Glinkastr., near the Centre for British Studies and the British Embassy in the city of Berlin

Our solidarity goes to Brendan Lillis and Roisin Lynch - Free Brendan Lillis! Free Marian Price! Release all republican prisoners now!
