At 11:00am on the morning of November 14, incendiary devices exploded
under two vehicles at the University of Concepción. The incident
occurred in the parking lot outside an auditorium where an
"International Symposium on Biomedical Research Models" was taking
place. The event featured vivisectors from Chile, the United States and
other countries. One of the vehicles damaged is owned by a researcher
and expert in animal cloning. According to media reports, leaflets
signed by the Animal Liberation Front were found at the site.
