ALF-Offensive gegen Fleisch- und Milchindustrie in USA

alf

Liebe,

San Francisco Animal Liberationists"

English:

"This was our first action, inspired by the amazing work of animal
liberationists in Costa Mesa, Montana, Idaho, Portland, and elsewhere this
summer.

Around midnight on August 12, we held local animal abuser Dave Evans and
Marin Sun Farms accountable for the lives they've destroyed. We took
action on behalf of the thousands of pigs, cows, lambs, chickens, and
goats killed for profit by Marin Sun Farms. Hiding behind the language of
sustainability can never hide the violence and terror of the blade and
captive bolt gun. Animals are not biological machines designed to serve
those with class and species privilege.

First, we glued the locks on their new San Francisco meat processing
building, on Eighth and Bryant Street. We slashed all sixteen tires on the
four Marin Sun Farms vehicles parked out front. Our next stop was their
butcher shop in Oakland's Market Hall. We left the glass door slathered
with glass etching cream.

We hold no illusions that our action will cause Marin Sun Farms to retreat
and close up shop. Their violence is motivated by the huge profits they
reap. Their new processing facility is a three million dollar investment.

But we act to make their work just that much more difficult. We act to
show them that their speciesist violence will always be met with
resistance. And to show everyone out there who believes in justice that
their despair can be turned into action.

Love,
San Francisco Animal Liberationists"

14. August:

"Locks damaged two consecutive nights

Two consecutive nights - both door locks at Yung Kee Restaurant were filled with superglue. This two story restaurant with on-site butcher proudly displays duck and chicken carcasses in their windows. Their hands are soaked with the blood of the countless animals murdered to continue their operation.

We are inspired by those fighting against the oppression of non-humyns in San Diego, Costa Mesa, and Portland. Continue with this momentum."

13. August:

Bekenner*innenschreiben zu den Aktionen in Oakland:

"Locks again glued. An action against animal exploitation

We glued the locks of Allied Pringle 'Foods' for the second time in as many nights. This fast and quiet action was intended to cause this poultry distributor economic damage. Animal exploitation is not welcome in our city.

In solidarity with recent vegan resistance in Portland and Costa Mesa."

"Locks damaged at Allied Pringle Food Sales

Allied Pringle Food Sales is a wholesale poultry distributor located at 333 Clay ST in downtown Oakland. We detest their commodification of animal life. We filled their locks with Liquid Steel to express our contempt for their practices of profiting off of confinement and misery. We hope to see continued action against the exploiters, and direct action everywhere.

Bekenner*innenschreiben zu Aktionen in Portland:

anonymous report, from Portland Indymedia:

"Bird Hut at 11249 SE Division Street sells exotic birds and tiny cages for the birds they sell as commodities. Birds such as the Hyacinth Macaw, which they sell for twelve thousand dollars. They exploit the reproductive systems of various bird species and specialize in hand fed baby birds.

We will not stand complacent and let businesses like this one commodify animals and disrespect nature. We will do everything in our power to drive them into the ground.

For starters, we glued all of their door locks on two occasions. We will not hesitate to escalate. We want you out of our city.

For the grand jury resisters. Your silence makes us collectively strong.

Anarchist Animal Allies"

10. August:

Bekenner*innenschreiben zu Aktionen in Portland:

anonymous report, from Portland Indymedia:

"Overpriced 'local' and so-called 'sustainable' meat is still murder. To avenge the pigs, we glued the locks on Aaron Silverman and Mark Cockroft's Tails & Trotters butcher shop. Aaron can be reached on his cell phone at 503-288-3665. Feel free to voice your disgust.

THE FROGS"

10. August:

Bekenner*innenschreiben zu Aktionen in Iowa:

received anonymously:

"Iowans for Animal Liberation is taking responsibility for destroying the iconic Iowa State Fair 'Butter Cow' on the night of August 10th.

We hid inside the Agriculture Building and emerged after closing. After dismantling the lock to the refrigerated case housing the Butter Cow with a screwdriver, we doused the entire butter sculpture in red paint. The paint represents the blood of 11 billion animals murdered each year in slaughterhouses, egg farms, and dairies. We then left a painted message on the glass of the display: 'Freedom for all.'

We intend this action to serve as a wake up call to all who continue to consume meat, dairy, eggs, leather, and all animal products: You are directly supporting suffering and misery on the largest scale the world has ever known.

Each year, nearly 1 million people visit the Butter Cow, a life-sized cow sculpted out of butter. Let this action be a reminder that this attraction represents the suffering of billions of animals each year: animals stolen from their mothers on dairy farms, imprisoned in cramped cages on egg farms, ground up alive in hatcheries, and hoisted by their legs while their throats are slit in slaughterhouses. The Butter Cow is a symbol and celebration of this mass murder.

The Iowa State Fair has attempted to cover up this action from the media and fair-goers since it was discovered early Sunday. With this communique, we are submitting a link to a photo of the sabotaged Butter Cow, taken the night of the action.

If factory farmers continue to lie to the public that their farms are 'humane,' then they will be happy to accept our challenge:

Allow the media and public into your farms.
Allow the media and public into your slaughterhouses.

Nothing to hide? Let us inside.

Iowans for Animal Liberation"

09. August:

Bekenner*innenschreiben zu Aktionen in Portland:

anonymous report, from Portland Indymedia:

"We super-glued all of the locks of Original Steer Market on Southeast Division Street twice. Our crimes are in solidarity with the animals under the knife, and are inspired by all of the creative destruction taking place as of late by anarchists and animal liberationists in Portland. Keep it up, Portland!"

28. Juli:

Bekenner*innenschreiben zu Aktionen in Costa Mesa:

anonymous report:

"Inspired by the recent actions in Portland and San Diego we decided to take action against Taco Asylum in Costa Mesa, CA. Taco Asylum serves rabbits, ducks, cows, and pigs in their dishes under the guise of 'free range', 'sustainable', and 'local' meat.

On the night of Sunday, July 28th we slipped into The Camp (a so called 'sustainable/green' shopping center) under the cover of darkness and glued the locks at Taco Asylum, located at 2937 S. Bristol St, B102 Costa Mesa, CA. We also spray painted the doors, patio, and entrance with red paint to represent the blood of the countless rabbits, ducks, pigs, chickens, and cows that they murder every year, leaving behind a message that read simply 'FREE THE ANIMALS' across their deck.

There is nothing 'sustainable' or 'green' in the business of animal agriculture, no matter how small and local the operation, and there is nothing compassionate or cruelty free about the murder of innocent animals. The rabbits that they serve come from Hidden Haven Farms, located at 18540 West Boundary Truck Trail Jamul, CA near San Diego. Maybe our unknown comrades in San can take this into account. This action was simple and took no more than a few minutes to complete. Actions like these and those that are on the rise in North America
can be taken by anyone with a little bit of planning and a few minutes of your night.

This action was taken in solidarity with all animal liberation and anarchist prisoners around the world.
